Friendly staff, very small amount of salmon in the salmon roll really not worth $7.95.
The food is fresh made right there behind counter. People have been there 25 years.
The other things we had were salmon teriyaki , pot stickers and fried won tons. All good tasting , piping hot, probably best for take out.
Lots of people coming in for take out! -

Worst "Japanese" restaurant i've ever been to. You go in there and you can feel how greasy the floor is because they don't leave the exhaust fan on when they're cooking. "Chicken" was terrible. Didn't taste or look like chicken at all. Beef was ok. They cook all their meat in such high temperature that it creates a crust. Rice was ok, they drench it in sauce so all you can taste every bite is the sauce. They say that all the orders comes with steamed vegetables but I barely got any. I got 3 thin slices of carrots, 2 small pieces of broccoli and 2 tiny pieces of cabbage. Worst $14.45 i've ever spent in my whole life.
Ordered 2 orders of california roll for $17. It turns out every order only has 4 rolls. 8 rolls of california roll for $17?! This is absurd! I would never go back to this place ever again. Not worth it at all, way too over priced for such terrible food. -

I am not a picky eater by any means and cannot remember of any restaurant that deserved a bad review -- but this one unfortunately does. I ordered the teriyaki chicken, which I normally do at any japanese restaurant. What I got was some sort of fried chicken that I think must've been cooked with old oil. It didn't even taste like chicken and it was so greasy. The sauce, I've just read a few reviews and I believe may be house made, but very disappointing because it was sour like it may have had too much ginger?? If I wanted ginger I would expect that to be the sauce they would use. The best thing on the plate was the scarce amount of steamed veggies plus whichever little spots of steamed rice that no sauce landed on. Pretty disappointing. Oh and the door was kept open, I'm pretty sure that was due to the overwhelming smell of burnt oil. Save your money folks.

Feeling hungry and I was in the area running errands. Someone told me to give this place a try. Got here around noon on a Friday. It was busy and people were still coming in as I waited for my to go order. The whole place smells of food. Very very casual place. Looks like a husband and wife duo own the place. They work as fast as they can to get your food to you!
I ordered their namesake. Teriyaki chicken lol. I didn't see the other sauces until it was too late. My order came with a ginger type sauce so that turned out better for me.
I give this place a 3 star because it was okay comfort food, just not fantastic. They gave me a ton of rice! -

Who doesn't love some good, affordable Teriyaki. This small shop has been a staple for my family for several years. I typically get the chicken teriyaki plate with veggies and rice. I have never been disappointed. I never stray too far from this order since it is the best thing to order from there. My brother in law often brings his friends to this restaurant and they all love it!
